BORGO BONELLI

Borgo Bonelli was once a thriving ‘borgo,’ or hamlet, in the Tuscan hillside, providing housing for farmers and villagers who worked for the nearby Castello Galena, going back centuries. The estate will be going through extensive renovations to transform it into our future home, including a thoughtfully & luxuriously restored hotel, spa, restaurant, and tasting room.

We look forward to welcoming you and guests in the future, with an opening aimed for the spring of 2027.

A NEW VISION, rooted in history

The transition to a new property felt like the right moment for a rebrand. Collaborating with esteemed Napa label artist Michael McDermott — known for his meticulous research and old-school hand tooling and etching — we set out to create labels that genuinely reflect the history and character of the land.

The La Caccia label speaks to its name. Meaning "the hunt," it draws from the San Giovanni vineyard's legacy as historic hunting grounds, depicted through two dogs in pursuit of a rabbit. For us, the hunt was never about the kill — it's about the pursuit. Of terroir. Of vintage. Of a wine that is truly of its place.

Ever chasing. Ever pursuing.
